Runner Notes

A wide, dirt path that can be dusty. The footing is fairly predictable with some rough patches to look out for.

Description

This wide dirt path is often used on the Hollywood Sign and Bronson Caves featured run, but can be taken further east to Mt. Hollywood Drive toward Mt. Bell. The grade of this one is relatively flat heading west from the Brush Canyon Trail, which makes for a well-earned respite from the climbing needed to get up that trail. Heading east, the trail takes a brief uptick in grade as it tops out at Mt. Hollywood Drive.

High road or low road. Coming off the dirt trail to the left, you head to the front of the sign; to the right, you head to the back of the sign. Both are paved roads to the destinations.
