Features Views

Mountain bikers have the right of way, and will be descending at speed. Be aware of your surroundings and keep an eye up trail. Runners yield to bikers.

Runner Notes

Plenty of rolling dips and descending mountain bikers make this a poor choice.

Description

The Summit Trail is primarily a descending trail for mountain bikers, evidenced by the bumps and berms that can be see along the way. For runners, the route begins off the Preston Railroad Trail and climbs clockwise around the East Tiger Summit. Take extra care to watch for descending riders and prepare to move out of the way.
