“A short trail with an abundance of wildlife and bird watching stations.”
— Ben Rosenberg
Features: Birding — Wildflowers — Wildlife
This flat route is relatively short, but is a great place to get outside to run.
From the street, there is a large wooden sign that reads "Woodlands Trail" that leads down a dirt road to a parking location.
From the trailhead, make a hard right. Feel free to take either of the two parallel paths that make up this loop trail. There are a number of labeled turnoffs for bird-watching alongside the path. Keep your eyes open for wildlife.
Flora & Fauna
Wild hogs, rabbits, and birds of every shape and size.
