“A singletrack that generally follows the Leon Creek Greenway and is somewhat technical in places.”— Eric Lamkin
From the Hausman Trailhead, head south on the paved section about 100 ft and look for the singletrack that cuts off to the right. There are occasional splits in the trail, but they eventually tie back together. It is difficult to get lost since this is in the middle of San Antonio.
If you are starting on the Leon Creek Greenway paved trail section at the Prue Rd overpass or at Rohde Park, go west over the dry creek bed and the trail runs north/south. The trail runs through the back of OP Schnabel Park and crosses over the paved path a couple of times.
From the Whitby Trailhead, head down the steep paved path until you see the safety bollard. The trail section runs north/south. There are several sections of trails that branch off and then re-connect along the way, but it is hard to get lost. This short trail section from Whitby to Bandera is pretty awesome and makes you feel like you've left San Antonio for a bit. The singletrack basically ends at the Bandera overpass and dumps you back onto the paved path part of Leon Creek Greenway.
