Depending on rain, the tinajas can be very full and impassable without wading through them.

Description

This is a very nice slot canyon that is a great place to escape the heat as the canyon stays shaded throughout the day. A hanging sign marks where the trail is now closed short of the river. Continuing to the river requires technical climbing skills and is not permitted by the park.
