Description

From the trailhead, run along the paved trail a couple hundred feet to the intersection of the loop trail. Continue to the left, passing a bridge over Gold Creek. During the fall, this is a great place to watch the salmon spawning. Shortly after crossing the bridge, there is a picnic area and lakeshore access. Many people come here to have lunch with the beautiful views of the Snoqualmie Pass peaks.

Continue clockwise around the loop, passing a couple more access points to the pond. The trail passes through groves of trees and open grassy areas as you circle the lake. Once you reach the end of the loop, head back to the parking lot the same way you came in.

Flora & Fauna

During the fall, the bridge is a popular place to watch salmon spawn.

Stopped here for a quick leg-stretch on a road trip. The pond loop is easy and pleasant. We also went a couple of miles up Gold Creek.
