Description

A short drive from Fresno to Friant, this trail is on the property of the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust. This is a great route for kids! Oversized animal homes and abundant wildlife will keep the kids engaged without making them overly tired. The trail is mostly flat, and there aren't many obstacles, which ease travel for everyone.

Flora & Fauna

In the pond you can spot tons of turtles and frogs as well as abundant waterfowl. On the trail you'll see lizards, rabbits and ground squirrels. Keep an eye to the sky, as bald eagles frequently nest in the large trees adjacent to the trail.
