Description
This short extension of the Valley Floor Trail heads south from the Valley Floor Trail up a hillside covered in spruce. After this short uphill, the trail turns west to head parallel along a ridge that heads through pine and aspen groves. In the spring, look for columbines under the trees.
The trail ends at Hwy 145 where you can run along the shoulder of the road to return to the parking lot at the start of the Valley Floor Trail.
