This trail can be muddy - wear proper footwear. The stair descent happens quickly and some people experience dizziness. Use caution on the stairs.
This is a well-marked trail with interpretive signs along the way describing the flora. The run is very straight before coming to several (235 to be exact) stairs going down the cliff-side to the ocean to see the Balancing Rock (basalt) and to get pictures. The Balancing Rock is located on St. Mary's Bay on the Bay of Fundy.
