“An open, airy road to gravel track to singletrack.”
— Nilo Ayson
The trail starts on the paved service road, though soon you'll take a right through a large opening in the tree line where the road will give way to a gravel track. From there, the trail follows the tree line under some trees and places you at the bottom of Rumbling Paddoka
. While you'll be following next to the trees, you're rarely under them. This might be a trail to avoid on a hot day, as it it very exposed with no tree cover.
