Bring a swimming suit!

This trail is short and sweet. You get most of the aspects of a high alpine trail, without all the work (the work is great, but time consuming). The trail starts on the left side of the parking lot. Just go along and take a left when it comes to an intersection with Dock Butte trail. There are several smaller 'social' trails that lead off of the main path. They are pretty easy to avoid as they are not maintained. Just keep on the path until you reach Blue Lake.

There are many Douglas firs, wildflowers, berries, and a few cedars along this trail.
