Highland is popular with hunters during deer season. Check the Michigan DNR site for exact dates and wear orange when appropriate. A Michigan "Recreation Passport" is required to park at the trailhead.

Description

From the trailhead on Livingston Road, run the A Loop. You'll have to navigate some rocks and roots on this narrow singletrack. There's plenty of off-camber trail to keep you on your toes, too. The trail is rolling with some gradual ups and downs and the option to connect to D Loop or B Loop if you are looking for a longer run.
