Parts of the trail (especially on the two hills) tend to be worn down, dug out, or ruined by dirt bike riders, so try to flatten it back out a bit if you see any trail damage.

From the intersection of Grand Sky and Ft. Apache, cross over the rock wash, and you'll see the trail about 30 feet ahead. Proceed south and run the nearly 6-mile long trail east where it intersects with Union Hills via. Baking Powder Outer Loop.

The trail is mostly flat with a number of small wash crossings in the first mile. There are two really fun hills that the trail winds up and over, but otherwise it just winds through mostly flat desert terrain.
