This short, flat trail runs north-south through the middle of Theodore Roosevelt Island, passing just east of the Memorial Plaza, with a loop back at the side of the old George Mason house site. The trailhead can be accessed off of the Swamp Trail at the north end of the park with shorter options available by using the connector from the Memorial Plaza. Views of the tidal marshy inlet and the Potomac River are easily seen from a higher vantage point than the other trails in the park. The trail has blue blaze markers on the southern end of the route.
