Description

Starting from Skyline Boulevard, the unpaved Ward Road meanders through oak groves and grasslands with fine views of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

At the junction with Long Ridge Road, Ward Road turns southwest and continues through a mix of oaks, grasslands, and chaparral until it reaches the boundary between Long Ridge Open Space and Portola Redwoods State Park, where it becomes the Ward Truck Trail.
