Description
Silver is one of four trails that go from a major trail junction - J2, to the Nova Hut area and several trails that take one further into the trail system.
Leaving trail junction J2, Silver heads south in the forest, rolling along over a few small dips and rises before a descent around a bend to the east. Then, still in the forest, the hillside to the right/south drops off rather steeply, revealing nice views to the south. Nearing the end of Silver, the trail climbs to the back of Nova Hut where it ends as it meets
Quartz Mountain Loop.
During the winter, as part of the Mount Spokane State Park's Nordic Skiing Trail System, this trail is groomed for classic and skate skiing.
Flora & Fauna
