DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED DURING WINTER - December 1 through March 31.

During the winter (December 1 through March 31) this trail is part of Mt Spokane State Park's Nordic Skiing Trail System. Use is restricted to nordic/cross country skiing. A Washington state Sno-Park Permit is required for parking. Additionally the Special Groomed Trail Permit is required to park in the Selkirk Lodge parking lot for access to this Nordic Skiing Trail System.

During the spring, summer and fall months (April 1 through November 30) this is a hiking trail. A Washington State Discover Pass is required for parking.

Raven Glide starts where Hemlock ends. Raven Glide is a pretty forest trail that traverses a hillside that rises to the right and drops off on the left. There are occasional glimpses of the surrounding mountains to the left/north, but the hillside isn't really steep enough for open views, due to the density of the tall trees.

Wild Moose, a quite fun trail, branches off to the left near the start (west end) of Raven Glide. Raven Glide ends after about three quarters of a mile, at a major trail junction - J5, where there is an outhouse and several other trails fan out in all directions.

During the winter, as part of the Mount Spokane State Park's Nordic Skiing Trail System, this trail is groomed for classic and skate skiing.

Pretty conifer forest. Deer and moose are in the area.
