Description

This trail breaks off from the Old San Pedro Mountain Road Trail and continues the climb up to the top of Montara Mountain. At the top, you can see all the way to San Francisco (even the Golden Gate on a clear day).

The whole trail is exposed, so bring plenty of water and wear sunblock on the rare sunny day! There is a steady incline until you reach mile 4-5, where it flattens out mostly near the top of the Mount Montara.

Flora & Fauna

Typical coastal bluff foliage.
