Description

This technical trail offers the runner a very short and steep climb and drop around Sugarloaf Mountain. Access it from the Shawnee Ridge Trail or from the parking lot at the campground at Great Seal State Park.

Reaching the summit of Sugarloaf Mtn. Three horses & riders found the 2.2 mile trail quite challenging, yet beautiful. Much steeper than anticipated, the trails had washed gullies & many tree roots & a few downed trees to negotiate. Not for green horses.
