Easy going can be had along this connector trail, if you're hoping for a mellow route.

This route is an easy gravel trail leading through spruce and aspen forests from the Denali Visitor Center to the Horseshoe Lake Trail. Along the way, it also provides access to the Rock Creek Trail and Mt. Healy Trail. There are some easily navigated open ditches that interrupt the otherwise very smooth tread.

This area is home to moose, spruce grouse, red squirrels and a wide variety of flowers and berries depending on the season.
