Rolling hills on single-track, sandy surface along scenic waterway.
This trail starts at the southern entrance to First Landing State Park at 64th Street and travels north along Broad Bay to the west. Runners will pass White Hill Lake to the East, then continue north from the mouth of Long Creek until the trail ends.
To finish up the trail, runners will turn to the west for the last approx. 1/2 mile and end at the park road near the north entrance to First Landing State Park.
The trail is very scenic, with occasional benches, wooden bridges and an elevated viewing platform where the White Hill Lake Trail
joins the Long Creek Trail around its midpoint.
This is the best trail in First Landing State Park for viewing birds. Snowy Egrets and Herons are common.
