The Panther Peak Trail is a winding route located in the bottom of a wash. If you like running on the beach, you'll enjoy running on the Panther Peak Wash trail since the majority of this trail is soft sand.

The elevation change is minimal, but if you aren't used to negotiating soft sand, your calves might be tired after this one. I'd consider wearing a pair of gaiters to keep sand out of your shoes.
