Description

At the southern end of Lower Kern Trail, Lower Kern Connector is found at a well marked trail junction. Go east on Lower Kern Connector to gently descend through beautiful, towering sequoias to the Kern River at the Lower Kern Bridge. Crossing Kern River here takes one out of Sequoia National Park, into Golden Trout Wilderness, Inyo National Forest.

Flora & Fauna

Tall, TALL, TALL sequoia trees. Grassy, otherwise no undergrowth.
