This is a gentle trail at Blue Mound State Park that is great almost all year round (including snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter), although the trail can become a little wet and muddy after the snowmelt in early spring.
The trail is fairly wide and, for the most part, features easy grades compared to a lot of the park. It is mostly forested. This trail is fun by itself but is definitely great to use as part of longer treks on some of the other trails throughout Blue Mound State Park.
