Description

This trail begins off the Miguel Meadow Fire Road and climbs steadily through moderate to hard grades to reach a junction with the Laurel Lake Connector. From here, the majority of the climbing is over so you can truly enjoy your beautiful forested surroundings as you make your way to the water's edge. Upon reaching the junction with the Lake Vernon Trail and Lake Laurel West Trail, stay the course west on the Laurel Lake Trail to soon make a gentle descent to the lake and great spots for both fishing and swimming.

Descending this trail, it can be quite tough on the knees so plan accordingly. It also might be a good idea to bring sandals because lots of the paths getting to the lake can be flooded.
