Good clean trail with a few stairs. Can't beat the location for a "head clearing" run.

Describing this trail as "spectacular" just doesn't do it justice. Heading north from the parking lot at Muir Beach, the trail ambles across a ridge above the rugged coast. Let your imagination wander as look to the west. Experience the fresh ocean air while you take in the breathtaking vista.

The singletrack is easy to navigate with a few stairs here and there. The brush is low enough to offer views down to the crashing waves most of the way. A pine tree here and there offers shade and protection from the sun and wind.

At the Slide Ranch enjoy a restful sit or picnic before returning.
