From the main parking lot, head up the wide gravel road. Signs should clearly mark each intersection, but you'll want to stay right at the first junction with D5, straight to avoid the K8 junction and then head uphill following signs for D4 - Devils Canyon
Stay right and then left to avoid the D4 - Devils Canyon
trail and then finally stay left to avoid the D6 trail and cut off. After the D6 junction, the grade will steepen as it climbs up an old road bed. It then weaves along the bottom of a seldom seen canyon. The trail gradually gains a saddle and then descends towards the Flume Canyon trail network. A marked junction with trail F1 will guide you towards the Flume Canyon trailhead (right) or towards the P1 - Pollock Bench Trail
(left). Retrace you steps or choose your own adventure if you want to venture further into the desert.
