Description

From the Tabeguache Trail off of Monument Road head right out of the parking lot alongside the bike park following signs for the Tabeguache Trail.

When you reach the Eagle's Tail/Pet-e-kes junction head right into the wash. At the Pet-e-kes junction, stay right to climb up the Eagle's Tail over some great rockwork. Stay along the ridge following signs for Eagle's Tail/Eagle's wing. You get a great perspective on the other trails at Tabeguache from the ridge and can often see runners and bikers picking their own lines parallel to you. Eagle's Tail becomes Eagle's Wing at the junction for Andy's Loop. Stay on the ridge to continue on Eagle's Wing where the trail becomes much more technical and a good bit steeper, head back the way you came or choose your own adventure on any of the great trails at Tabeguache.
