Description

The Whatcom Creek Trail - East enters Whatcom Falls Park at the corner of Woburn and Yew Street. It quickly proceeds up a significant set of steps before leveling out to continue past homes and apartments. In a small clearing it passes an access trail to St. Clair Park before heading back into the trees.

At various times, Whatcom Creek will come to shrouded view and you'll likely hear other trail users enjoying the Whatcom Falls Trail below. At another intersection the trail turns north past the Whatcom Falls Bridge Connector and the striking circa 1939 stone bridge that sits in front of the falls.

The trail continues up along the creek to a series of steps to follow a wide tree-lined corridor. The trail eventually works past an intersection with the Railroad Trail and crosses over a bridge to reach the Whatcom Creek Trail to Blodel Donovan Park.
