Be wary of loose rocks and roots on the path. There is a waterfall off the beaten path near the beginning of the trail.

The trail starts out as a properly maintained path that quickly leads into forest/mountain terrain, perfect for those who want some challenge and beauty at the same time. The park operators have gone through extensive work to provide a trail that can withstand the traffic of a popular trail like Lake 22.

As you ascend higher into the mountain, you'll be sure to hear the flowing water coming from numerous waterfalls that are just beyond the trail. Once you reach the top of the mountain, the trees will open up to a pristine lake and incredible mountain views for you to enjoy. Feel free to walk around the lake and take in the amazing sights, sounds, and smells this lake has to offer.
