Description

This trail is a loop that starts at the entrance of Cobblestone Ranch with gravel parking. The trail starts out on the Colorado Front Range Trail with the Hidden Mesa trail on the right after approximately 0.25 miles. There is a decent climb with loose rocks at the top before doing the loop around the mesa which is relatively flat.

Enter Cobblestone Ranch from Parker Road one mile north of Franktown. After crossing the bridge, there is a small gravel lot to park. Head across the street to pick up the Cherry Creek trail. After approximately 0.25 miles, there is a sign for the Hidden Mesa Trail. From there, it is a climb to the top of the mesa. From there, you can go right or left and follow the small signs to make the loop back.

Parking can also be found at the Hidden Mesa Open Space farther down Parker Road before Franktown or there is a trailhead off of Pleasant View Drive that eliminates the climb to the top of the mesa.

Great run. Snowy and muddy most of the trail but the added challenge was welcome. 7mi
