Use this doubletrack road to connect Congo down to the base of Aspen Highlands Ski Area. Find this dirt road beyond the gated access at the top of Thunderbowl Lane from the bottom, or from Congo trail's end. You may encounter motor vehicles, but they will usually be limited to service trucks performing maintenance work for ski area operations.

If using this trail as a climb, you can find the Congo past the Merry-Go-Round restaurant (open winter only) to the south and east.
