Piece O' Cake is a wide dirt service road from the bottom of Arrowhead Village to the top of Arrowhead Mountain. This route is well graded and climbs at a consistent pitch, making it a reasonably good workout option for runners based at Arrowhead trying to reach other trails. A prettier option is the Village to Village Trail. The bottom few hundred feet of Piece O' Cake are shared with the far western end of Village to Village Trail.

Expect a lot of exposure to the sun and dusty conditions as this trail crosses multiple ski runs and follows the Piece O' Cake ski run after the mountain's midpoint. Note: bikes are allowed on this trail.
