“A short trail from the road to the southwest corner of the lake with great views.”

Access this trail from the road. If you park outside and come over the bridge, take the road for a bit and look for the trail access about a 0.25 miles in on the east side. The trail climbs to a nice view of the lake and Mount Baldy. It cruises along the shoreline into a shady corner of the lake and then back up to the road. Connections can be made to Lower Bee Hive Trail
and the main Bonelli Trail
for longer runs.
