Here's a new trail to explore. It's a 1.6 mile loop on Mt. Rachel near Park St. The trailhead has bathroom facilities with electricity and running water. There are a couple of picnic shelters as well.
The trail is wide enough to run in groups, so bring your friends!
You'll start at Park Street entrance and head counter-clockwise on the trail loop. After about a mile, you'll start climbing to top of Mount Rachel. From here, you'll see water towers and view of Dalton. There are a couple of sharp switchbacks on the descent.
