This climbs steeply from the Gregory Canyon
trailhead to the Saddle Rock Trail
. This trail is made up almost exclusively of waterbars and stone steps. It will have your legs burning in no time as it makes its way up to a junction with Saddle Rock Trail
Flora & Fauna
Ampitheater trail passes through dense, green forest as it ascends at the bottom of a drainage. Expect the scenery along this trail to seem like that of a much wetter climate than the Colorado frontrange.
