Start of loop (going CCW), showing the remnants of Bodine Cemetery.
The remains of the first Fort Smith can be seen along this trail. From this point, you get a nice view of the Arkansas River.
The trail meanders underneath the trees as it runs along the Arkansas River.
Pelicans and other birds rest at the confluence of the Arkansas and Poteau Rivers.
