This dirt trail meanders through the woods. You can see the roots that grow across the trail.
At this point in the trail, if it has been raining recently the trail will be really muddy. There are a couple of wooden walkways to help you traverse the mud and creek crossings.
Mushrooms and lichen can be seen growing on the ground and trees along the trail.
The foundation remains of the Sabattus Lookout Tower can be seen along the trail. The tower was disassembled in the 1963.
