Sign at trailhead suggest taking a picture of the map. Too many lost people I guess.
Typical trail; lot of slippery roots and vegetation. Peaceful and magical.
The trial traverses the lava field through Kai Oko-Honokohau National Historical Park.
These coral skeletons are everywhere.
The trail winds along the coast. Intermixed with the black igneous rocks are bleached coral skeletons.
