most of the lake views are inhibited by trees. There's better lake views on the Table Mound trail at the end of this trail.

This lake was up 30' higher than this picture in May of 2019. Here's remnants of that flooding. Do not hike this trail when the lake is up.

This lake was up 30' higher than this picture in May of 2019. Here's remnants of that flooding. Do not hike this trail when the lake is up.

This is a flatter part of the trail, there are some pretty steep climbs in here.

Orange trail blazes indicate the trail quite well in here. In some of the valleys that go down to the lake coves, they help tremendously as the trail seemed to disappear for all the leaves.
