This path is in the woods and not very sandy.

This path is in the woods and not very sandy.
This bit of path goes from the parking lot to a bathroom and then on to the trails.
A nice part of the trail.
There were probably 15 people fishing the lake today, a 50 degree day in March. Must be good fishing!
This section of trail was extremely soggy and it hadn't rained in a week or more.
It was about here where we started running into water snakes. I doubt they were poisonous, they just gave us the heebie jeebies when they'd slither off into the water really quickly
You can't see me... We think we identified this as a Plainbelly water snake.
