Enjoy great views near the summit looking back toward the town of Los Olivos with coastal fog visible in the distance.
Looking back toward the trailhead, we can see we're starting to gain elevation above the stream valley.
Near the beginning of the trail, hikers continue straight while a horse trail leads to the right. Grass Mountain is visible in the distance.
The trailhead is marked by this large sign.
Trees and Wildflowers
Zane in his hammock just steps from the schoolhouse. Got there around 6:00 PM and had the whole place to ourselves.
