From the junction of 202 and 8A, look up the valley to the north. At the ridge top on the left you meet trail 8B again.
From the junction at the pass, the 202 Mohave Connector heads down the valley.
From the pass, the preferred route is up the switchbacks to the east, to a spectacular summit.
At the pass, 3 trails come together. 200 continues up the peak to the SW, 202 down the valley, and the unnamed trail continues up the peak to the east.
