You'll have to navigate this stream crossing on the Dobbin Grade Trail. It is perhaps easiest to ditch your shoes and wade across this shallow stream.

The wind carves out these sandstone rock formations, and the trail bed is more akin to beach sand than anything else on Rocky Ridge Trail in the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.

Be prepared for a swamp crossing on Dobbin Grade Trail. This "trail" can sometimes disappear entirely, leaving you to your own devices to find the best (and driest) path through.
