During a water release in the spring, the Tuolumne River roars downstream.
Wildflowers bloom along the trail.
There is a tunnel, which ties into the dam and provides relief in high water, that sits off on the right side of the trail.
The trail as it enters an open field. Flowers bloom in the spring, and dam workers and rangers can be find resting here.
The O'Shaughnessy Dam upstream from the viewpoint. It's a great view, without the crowds.
