The mountain walls that make up the left side of the canyon rise above you at this point. There are lots of small, unnamed trails up here to explore if you are willing or you can just take in the views.

The views at the end of the trail are breathtaking. You can see Death Valley, the salts flats, the Furnace Creek area, and the geologic rock colors that make Death Valley famous.
