The final push as you near the Clingmans Dome Parking Lot. You can see the dead fir trees, victims of the sap sucking balsam woolly adelgid.

The trail as it descends from the Clingmans Dome parking lot. The rock steps make it easier to navigate this section of the trail.
Even if you are unable to hike the trail, you'll enjoy the views at the base.
