Lake Minnewaska
Be sure to stray from the carriage trail and investigate the cliffs overlooking Lake Minnewaska. The peaceful lake with the Catskill Mountains as a backdrop is the perfect way to start this hike.

Much of Millbrook Mountain Trail has these lovely sections of rhododendron.
At one point the trail is a small stream you have to hike down. It’s pretty amazing.
