Finding wild cat footprints in the snow makes an exciting winter find.
Heading back down the top section of switchbacks. Lower down the switchbacks get rockier and steeper.
Densely packed mica and old drill holes can be seen at the historic Mica Mine. Most families turn back here as the trail gets tougher after this spot.
