This viewing platform offers amazing views on the valley below, especially around sunrise and sunset times. It is a great alternative to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep which can be extremely busy and is much more commercialized.
On the Road: The stairs from the parking lot arrive at the Viewing Platform, alternatively you can reach it by driving up to the temple by road and crossing the temple area.
